A delicious corn bread that will surprise you with it's zesty flavor.

DILLMAN PRODUCT USED:
Dillman Farm Jalapeno Pepper Jelly

Ingredients
  • 2 1/2 TBS. Dillman Farm Jalapeno Pepper Jelly
  • 1 1/2 cups self rising corn meal
  • 1 - 8 oz. carton sour cream
  • 1/2 cup melted shortening
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 tsp.. salt (optional)
  • 1- 7 oz. can whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1 dash cayenne pepper for extra "heat", if desired
Directions

Mix all ingredients well. Pour into a well greased 10 1/2 " cast iron skillet or baking pan. Bake at 400° for 15 - 20 minutes or until golden brown. Serves 8
