Baked Bananas

Dillman Farm Seedless Red Raspberry Preserves


  • 1/2 cup Dillman Farm Seedless Red Raspberry Preserves
  • 6 medium bananas
  • 1 TBS. brown sugar
  • 2 TBS. unsalted butter, cut into small bits
  • 1 TBS. lime juice
  • 1 TBS. Sherry


Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place banana halves cut side down on a 9X12 baking dish. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over the bananas and dot with butter. Bake 15 minutes. Meanwhile, in a non reactive pan, (glass or porcelain) combine the preserves, lime juice, and sherry. Melt over low heat, stirring occasionally. Put the preserve mixture over the bananas and make another 5 minutes. Place two banana halves on each plate and spoon some of the sauce on top. Serve immediately. Serves 6
